More panel beating. I'm getting better at it, at least I like to think so. The left rear fender was in a really sad condition after blasting. In these before-and-after pictures, you will see how it turned out! Note that there are other downsides to blasting visible body panels - the tension left in the panel makes it warp under the heat of tinning & leading, no matter how careful you are with the heat!
On the right: Since the metal stretches as I bang it, I like to first roughly measure the area, and NOT cut the original until I have made the patch panel fit perfectly, so I can use it as a template for cutting.
Above: A lot of panelwork here. The large area was made from 3 pieces to divide the job into manageable size. Ready for leading.
